Three People Hospitalized As Goat Goes Berserk
An angry goat in Melbourne, Australia managed to hospitalize three people as it rampaged through a nursing home. The Seven year old Billygoat named "Billy" escaped from a nearby house and wandered into the grounds of a nursing home where the assault took place.
The goat got agitated when the gardener tried to shoo it away from the premises. It then charged the 60 year old and butted him to the ground. When another man, in his 70's, rushed in to help, he too suffered the same treatment. A third women, the owner of the goat, was injured in a fall as she ran in to control the animal. The attack only ended after the goat was wrestled to the ground by a police officer.
The two men have been hospitalized with head and suspected spinal injuries. However, the injuries could have been worse as a stab from the horns can easily impale vital organs. The locals, who seem to have a penchant for pet goats and sheep, have expressed their surprise over the attack and have said that "Billy" was never before seen in such a fit of rage. As of now, the fate of the hooved marauder remains unknown.
