Nursery Teacher Sacked For Spraying Her Pupils With Aerosol
There is no harm in being neat and clean but it is extremely harmful and demeaning when you step the line like Elizabeth Davies. Mrs Davies, 48, has recently been accused of demeaning and humiliating children from ages 3 to 6 because of using aerosol sprays on them. The spray was used on children because both they smelt of curry and onions or their fault was breaking wind!
According to Telegraph, the spray was used massively on children of Bangladeshi origin. Mrs. Davies is also forced washing children hands in pine disinfectant and made them stand on news papers if someone happened to wet himself / herself up.
The odd thing regarding this demeaning act of a nursery school teacher is perhaps her 20 year experience of teaching children. We don’t really know if any other similar complaints were filed, but how she managed to abuse her position for 20 years without getting noticed is something that sounds really bizarre. Mother-of-two Mrs Islam said the spray was "usually" for children who had English has an additional language.
A disciplanry hearing was carried out against Mrs. Davies and she was found guilty of this act. Mrs. Davies now stands sacked and lost her 34000 GBP / year job.
