2-year-old Child Smokes 40 Cigarettes A Day
The Child Trundling Around Smoking On His Toy Truck
A 2-year-old boy named Ardi Rizal from Musi Banyuasin, Indonesia reportedly smokes 40 cigarettes a day and gets really angry if he doesn't get his nicotine fix.
His father, Mohammed, 30, a fishmonger, introduced him to cigarettes when he was only 18 months old.. He has since developed a serious addiction.
"He's totally addicted. If he doesn't get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick", his weeping mother Diana, 26, told Sun.
The child currently weights 25 kilos and is too unfit to play around with other kids so he just sits around smoking on his toy truck. His addiction costs the family more than $5 a day and he only smokes one brand.
Officials have offered to buy the family a car if the child quits but his father said, "He looks pretty healthy to me. I don't see the problem."
